Happy Monday, friends!! I’m so excited to finally share all the details from Mira’s 11th birthday Lilly Party. She is a preppy girl who loves Lilly Pulitzer and monograms. When it was time to pick her birthday theme, she chose to have a very small slumber party with a Lilly inspired brunch the next morning. Lilly Pulitzer’s colorful, whimsical designs are a perfect match for parties! And, a Lilly Party based on her classic, fun style is a great way to welcome Spring!
The brunch set up was super simple to get together the morning after the sleep over. First, I made individual Quiche Lorraines. I also set out Southern Style Biscuits, Sausage Links, Waffle Sticks in cups with Syrup, and little cups of Fruit Salad. Instead of a cake, Mira wanted to have a doughnut “cake”. It was topped with a mini paper fan and a Happy Birthday party circle. I also made Flamingo sugar cookies for the girls to enjoy. The girls even had their own little waiter to make sure that they had everything they needed — Mira’s little brother, Sam, was more than happy to wait on her and her friends for the morning!
Stay tuned later this week for lots of fun DIY projects from this party. I’m going to share how I made that monogrammed sign for less than $10! Another fun project was those decoupage frames that were just $1, each.
