Certified Enneagram Coach, Deanna of Mirabelle Creations
I founded Mirabelle Creations design studio after quitting my job as an attorney. I’ve always known that my life was meant for more than just overwhelm and lack of direction. In 2018, I learned about my unique personality, strengths, and passions using the Enneagram. That knowledge helped me to make small, but meaningful shifts in my life, purpose, and relationships.
And in the biggest surprise ever – the Enneagram changed my life. I became a certified Enneagram coach and grew my creative business to levels I had only dreamed about.
A few actions steps just for Type 6s:
1. Make Sure Your Loyalty Is Appreciated
Type 6s are some of the most loyal friends. Although it make a take some time to earn your loyalty, once a person does earn, you freely give your loyalty. Just remember that if someone proves to you that they no longer deserve your loyalty, it’s okay to outgrow that person. You don’t have to keep giving your dedication and loyalty to someone who no longer deserves it.
2. Learn to Trust Yourself
Type 6s often doubt their own wisdom and inner-authority. But, I bet you can think of many times you took your own advice and found it to be great advice. All these times that your own inner wisdom has benefitted you are proof that you can trust yourself. You know yourself better than everyone else and have the power to succeed and thrive just by leaning on your own authority.
3. Focus on Positive Possibilities
Type 6s are the best planners because they are always planning for every possibility in a scenario. But, 6s often focus on the negative possibilities and try to prevent them from happening. When planning for the future, don’t forget to ask “What positive thing might happen?” In addition, 6s can benefit from asking, “What do I want to happen in this situation?”
