What Your Enneagram Type Tell Us About What Type of Dad You Are

Your Enneagram Type can help you learn more about different aspects of your life, including your parenting style. In a previous post, we talked about the different types of Moms based on their Enneagram post.  So, it’s only fair that we give dads a post, too!  The following charts will help you to determine some of your strengths and weaknesses, all based on your Enneagram type.  Even if you aren’t a dad, this Series can possibly help you learn and understand more about your own dad or other important dad figures in your life.

The Type 4 Dad is happy getting lost in creating art projects and creative play with his children.  They are also great at helping each child find their most authentic life.

The Type 5 won’t ever answer hid child’s “Why?” question with “Because I said so.”  Instead, he’ll seek to give the most honest and informative answer to that question.

Type 6: The Constant Dad

If you are looking for a loyal dad, who will always have your back, look no further than the Type 6 Dad.

Type 7: The Spontaneous Dad

Always down for an adventure?  Looking for something fun and exciting to do? Then the Type 7 Dad is your guy!

Type 8: The Self Assured Dad

The Type 8 Dad is confident and decisive.  He knows what he wants for his kids and will work hard to give those things to them.

Type 9: The Relaxed Dad

The Type 9 Dad will provide an accepting and patient presence to his kids’ lives.  Although he is laid-back, that doesn’t mean he won’t do what is needed for his kids.
