We’re all staying Healthy at Home right now, so I thought it would be the perfect time to explore Procreate Lettering, together. Most of my artwork is now designed on my iPad, using the Procreate App. I’ve had a few requests for a Procreate Lettering class, so, I decided it would be fun to do a Facebook Live all about how I use Procreate to hand letter. If you didn’t catch the class when it was live, don’t worry! I’ve posted it in a few places so you can watch it whenever it’s convenient for you.
Thousands of you have signed up for our free Anyone Can Letter Challenge. It’s our free 5 day email course to get you started lettering. But, now, with this Procreate Lettering Basics Class, you can complete the Challenge on your iPad, too. If you have an iPad and Apple Pencil, you can start digitally lettering, today.
The program I use for all my lettering projects is Procreate. The app is perfect for learning to hand letter or any digital artwork. It’s not hard to learn and you can export your files to a computer if you’d like. If you want to start lettering for fun or even to start your own hand lettering business, I highly recommend it.
You can now watch this Procreate Lettering Basics Class online in a couple of places. First start with the Intro into Procreate Lettering Basics. You can watch it on Facebook, here. You can also watch it my new IGTV Channel. Just visit my Instagram feed, and open the IGTV Channel page at the top of the Feed. The Intro mentions the items you’ll need to complete the Challenge:

After you’ve watched the Intro, check out the Class on Facebook, here. It’s also on my IGTV, split into three Episodes. We cover the basics of importing worksheets into Procreate, Procreate tips, vowels, ascenders, descenders and all the rest of the lower case letters.
