My little guy turned 9 years old earlier this month. It’s hard to believe that he is growing up so quickly. In fact, I must be in denial because I sent the cupcake toppers for his party to the printer with an “8” on them, instead of the “9”! For his party, he really wanted to have a trampoline party at our local trampoline park, Sky Zone.
Hosting a party at an outside venue, like a trampoline park, is great because they do most of the work for you. And, considering he wanted to invite all the boys from his class, I knew we needed to have the party somewhere they could get out some of that boy energy! However, making it a stylish, personalized party is a little trickier at an outside venue. Sam and I chose the decorations and food knowing that it would have to be easy to set up at the party.
Sam and I started planning his party together by designing the invitation shown at the top of this post. He picked a simple, colorful style that highlights the word “JUMP”. He also chose a navy, light blue, orange, and lime green color palette. I also designed the Colorful Trampoline Party Collection just for his party. The Colorful Trampoline Party Collection includes a wavy pattern that reminded me of bouncing up and down.
This sweet, colorful dessert table used four big orange balloons for a simple and inexpensive backdrop. A balloon backdrop is perfect for parties at outside venues since you can transport the balloons so easily.
I love the colorful banner with our Colorful Trampoline Party Collection. It incorporates the wavy, colorful pattern with bright navy lettering.
Vanilla and Chocolate Cupcakes from Kroger were topped with personalized Cupcake Toppers. Sam picked out the “Jump Jump” phrase, which is perfect for both a Trampoline Party and a Bouncy House Party.
One of my favorite parts of the dessert table (and a big hit with the kids) were the chocolate covered Oreos. They taste great, can be customized to match any party, and they really are simple to make!
Plastic utensils were wrapped and a napkin and topped with one of our Paper Napkin Rings. For a kids party, paper napkins, with either plastic or wooden disposable utensils is the only way to go!
Striped and polka dot straws were decorated with coordinating “Jump” drink flags.
In addition to the pizza that was served at Sky Zone, the kids also munched on Sam’s Snack Mix. I purchased these adorable polka dot takeout boxes at Target in the Dollar Aisle. Inside, I placed a brown paper sandwich bag and filled them with Sam’s favorite chips. The boxes were decorated with navy blue personalized party circles.
For the favors, the kids took home mini jars filled with blue and white bubblegum. The containers are mini spice containers that I purchased at our local Dollar Store. I tied thank you circles to the jars with blue and white twine.
The party hosts at Sky Zone were a huge help setting up the table. They definitely made hosting the party much easier and stress free!
The kids had a great time jumping, playing dodge ball, doing flips, and dunking on their basketball goals!
And how cute are all their little feet in their matching socks?!
Happy Birthday to this little cutie! Hope you had a fantastic birthday!
