Both my hubby and I recently celebrated our 40th birthdays within two weeks of one another. We had several great little celebrations with friends and family – it was truly a wonderful two weeks! My husband requested to have a small family dinner as part of his birthday celebrations. With some prompting by the kids, he chose a Fiesta Party theme.
We ordered a burrito bar from Qdoba for dinner. Qdoba comes and sets up the bar for you and brings everything you could think of for a burrito bar. It was so simple and really made party prep super easy and stress free. The one thing my hubby really wanted for the dinner was a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I decorated the top of the cake with DIY mini pompoms and adorable little paper medallions from Pier One.
In addition to the cake, we served vanilla cupcakes topped with cupcake toppers from our new Fiesta Party Printable Collection.
Of course the lime and raspberry margaritas were just as popular as the desserts! For an inexpensive floral vase, I used a can of Mexican salsa.
In addition to the paper medallions from Pier One, I purchased the matching paper dessert plates.
The drink flags decorating these chevron orange flags are also available in our Fiesta Party Printable Collection.
All of the many choices for the Qdoba burrito bar were so yummy! The kids particularly loved having the option of making the burritos exactly like they liked!
Water bottle labels from our Fiesta Party Collection are also now available.
