It’s Olympics time!! Who’s a little bit excited for this year’s Olympics? If you have already been planning next weekend’s activities around the televised Olympics schedule, it’s absolutely okay. I may have checked out the event schedule more than a few times, already 😉 The summer Olympics only come around every 4 years, so why not go all out!
The last time the Olympics rolled around, I designed one of all-time favorite FREE printable designs. And, apparently, you all love it to, because it is probably one of my most downloaded free designs! And, now I’ve updated it for 2016, so you can throw your own Olympics Party.
You can also check out the easy instructions on how to make these Oreo Gold Medals for your Olympics party, here. No baking required – they truly are the simplest party treat to make. But they are also perfect for an Olympics party!
For even more pictures and how-tos for this Olympics Party, visit the full post, here. Make sure you look for the Go For Gold Pineapple Muffins and Watermelon Olympics Rings.
If you’re looking for a fun activity for your Olympics Party, have your own Opening Ceremonies! For the last summer Olympics, we had everyone pick a country to represent and bring a costume for the country. We got creative, and silly, with our costumes. Then, everyone made their own flag or sign to carry before our Parade of Countries. The kids (who look so young here) loved picking out their costumes before the party and kept busy during the party making their signs.
