Have you fallen in love with the Enneagram Personality Types? Wondering what the Enneagram is? It’s a personality type description that was developed in the 1950s. It’s similar to the Meyers Briggs test, but with fewer types. Here’s how Brit & Co describes it:
According to Enneagrammers (no relation to Instagrammers), everyone falls under one of nine core types, which dictate everything from who you date to what you do to what sets you off. While you may think you’re acting out of free will, the Enneagram says you are really being guided by deeply embedded biases and habits that start to take shape when you are born. Once you identify your Enneagram number, you can start to recognize patterns in yourself and others and take control of the subconscious traits that, when harnessed, will make you a zenned-out powerhouse.
If you don’t know your type, you can take a free test at Your Enneagram Coach. It’s probably my favorite type because it gives you a list of the types with the percentages that you matched. So, if your first choice at Type doesn’t really sound like you, it might be that you identify more with the second or third choice on the list.
Finding out my type and the types of my hubs and kids has been so enlightening. And, it truly has made our relationships stronger because I feel like I more fully understand what they need and don’t need to be happy. Since I have been loving researching more about the Enneagram, I decided to bring that passion into my art and illustrations to share it with you! So here are the nine Enneagram types in our “I Am Enneagram Type” Series. I’ll be adding more fun for Enneagram lovers to the Shop, soon, too!
