This weekend, we had a casual little Christmas Party for a few friends. We had a few store made desserts that we set out on a small Christmas dessert table. I also propped up the latest Chalkboard Art that was recently added to the Mirabelle Creations Etsy Shop. The sign is a instant download file that you can immediately download after purchase. The file can be sent to a local office supply shop and printed for under $10 as a large 24×36 print.
The one dessert I did make for the Christmas Party was Oreo Truffle Pops. It’s such an easy recipe and can be made a couple of days before any party. Plus, there is something about a dessert on a stick that is simply irresistible!
Store bought chocolate cupcakes were topped with cupcake toppers and peppermint sticks. Dressing up store bought cupcakes with some small decorations is a quick way to personalize your party.
A chocolate mousse cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory was topped with a wooden stir stick. A small “Ho Ho Ho” flag was attached to the top of the stir stick with some double sided tape.
To add a little more color to the table, red ribbons were tied around the bases of the compote dishes and cake stands.
To attach the North Pole signs to the peppermint sticks, I simply used a little icing dabbed on the back of the sign. The peppermint stick was topped with a red mint M&M.
As a party favor, guests went home with a Cookies for Santa jar. The cookies in a jar recipe and cute little tags can be found on the Tomkat Studio blog. Thanks to the Tomkat Studio for sharing this ideas and the free tags!!! My daughter actually assembled all the ingredients in the jars. She loved making the gifts for all of her guests!
Here’s one more look at the “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” Christmas Chalkboard Art, now available in our Shop. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!
