For the adult table Thanksgiving tablescape, I wanted to create a rustic, glam look that coordinates with the Thanksgiving Dessert Table. I found some rustic elements, like the burlap table cloth, jute napkin tie, and woven charger, then paired them with more glamorous items, like the gold turkey and red roses. You can find all the details of the tablescape after the pictures.
{Tablescape Details} The table was first covered with burlap. The, a gold fabric table runner was laid down the center. Instead of a large centerpiece, red garden roses in small vases and mason jars decorated with gold paint sit down the center of the table. Spray painted ceramic turkeys and mini pumpkins embellish the table. At each place setting, a red Spode plate sits atop woven charger plates. The white linen napkins are tied with jute twine that was adorned with gold acorns.
The place cards at each place setting coordinate with the cards used for the Dessert Table. The place cards are part of the Eat, Drink, & Be Thankful Printable Party Collection. When I styled the table, I used my best friend’s name for the placesetting. She lives out in California and she is the guest I’d most like to have at my Thanksgiving table. Since I took this picture, she has welcomed her first child! Now even more than ever before, I wish I could spend Thanksgiving with her and her precious little boy!
Who would you love to spend Thanksgiving with this year?
