Overview of Type 1:
Type 1s are the Reformers or the Perfectionists. Type 1s are ethical, committed, principled, self controlled and perfectionistic.
Type 1’s basic desire is to be good and ethical and to do the right thing. They are motivated to live the right way. They fear being bad, evil or corrupt.
Type 1s have a high sense of integrity and have high ideals to make themselves and the world better. They are ordered, rational and organized and desire to maintain high standards. But, their high expectations of themselves can sometimes cross into perfectionism and being overly critically.
If you feel like everywhere you go, errors and mistakes jump out at you, you might be a 1. You may also have a relentless inner critic that drives you.
Levels of Development for Type 1:
