A couple of months ago we hosted a Mexican Fiesta Party night for our Supper Club group. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy getting together with this wonderful group of friends, who also all happen to be phenomenal cooks. Over the past few years, we’ve had so much fun planning party themes for the group, like the Royal Wedding Party and a Grillers & Growlers Party. We kept this Fiesta Party pretty simple and all the guests pitched in by bringing delicious dishes to share.
We created a casual vibe by placing a kraft paper runner down the center of the table. For the centerpieces, I filled empty Mexican soda bottles with tissue paper flowers. Little cans of salsa and limes were also used on the table.
A great place to shop for table decorations for any Fiesta party is the Latin aisle at your local grocery store. The Mexican soda bottles and little cans of salsa were very inexpensive and added an authentic touch to the table.
At each place setting, I places a mini piñata filled with little chocolates. Check back later this week for a simple tutorial discussing how to make these Mini Piñatas. I’ll also be sharing my favorite recipes for a Mexican Fiesta Dinner Party. Happy Monday!
