Last month, I launched the first Step in our Anyone Can Letter Workbook Series. You can learn more about the Series in an earlier post, which talks all about Step 1 of the Series – Lower Case Lettering. But, today is the launch of Step 2 of the Anyone Can Letter Series – Upper Case Lettering!!
Just like the lower case lettering workbook, this Upper Case Lettering Workbook will walk you through the steps to perfect your lettering, focusing on the Upper Case Letters. Here’s a little sample of how to use the workbook with a small tip brush pen:
You can print the worksheet out and use any small tip brush pen. You can print out as many copies of the worksheet as you’d like to practice many times. Or you can even place the worksheet under tracing paper, like I did in this video, so you only have to print the worksheet once. The pens I recommend are all available on Amazon. My favorite choices are the PaperMate Flair Pen, Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen or Pentel Brush Sign Pen. But if you have other small tip brush pens that you like, this worksheet will work perfect.
If you prefer to practice lettering on your iPad, this worksheet will work for you, too! You can just download the JPG files to use the Workbook on your iPad. There are instructions for downloading and using the Workbook on the iPad or for printing it and using it with a brush pen.
Happy Lettering my friends! Check back next month for Step 3 in the Series – Monoline Serif and Sans Serif fonts (all those cute print fonts that will make your script stand out:)
