After teaching hundreds of students to hand letter, I have learned one important thing: absolutely ANYONE can learn to letter! So many students tell me that they can’t hand letter because they aren’t creative, they have terrible hand writing, or they just don’t know how to be artistic. But, none of those excuses are true! If I can learn to letter, I know that you too can!
One reason people try to learn to letter but then give up, is they don’t start with the basics. My brand new Anyone Can Letter free email course is designed to help you go from the basics to lettering beautiful words in just 3 weeks. For 3 weeks, beginning on January 11th, you will receive a daily email with a daily worksheet (like the ones pictured below), lettering tips and a quick video. The emails will also contain an actionable step for you to take each day to improve your lettering with drills and alphabet worksheets. In just a few short minutes, you’ll be able to complete the daily action step. You can then post your action step on Instagram to the hashtag #anyonecanletter.
After 3 weeks, you’ll be on the way to beautiful lettering!
You can join my new Anyone Can Letter Challenge here. So, hop over and join today! I’ve already received lots of questions about what supplies you’ll need for the Challenge. Here’s what you’ll need for the Challenge
1. Pens – any one of these pens:
- Crayola Super Tips,

- Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen (hard tip)
These pens are listed in order of easiest to hardest to use, based on my personal use. If you are a beginner, start with the Crayola Super Tips, then move to one of the other pens once you are comfortable with it!
