One of our most popular party requests is our Cooking Party Collection. When I created this party, it was simply because my daughter was looking for some party ideas based on her favorite television show. She wanted to have her girlfriends over for a back to school Chopped style party to celebrate the start of middle school. Now, she is in her last few months of middle school, but our Cooking Party Collection is still one of our most requested designs, especially for teens and tweens.
I’ve been lucky enough to create this Collection in so many different color combinations. Clients regularly order the Collection in custom color combinations. I love the preppy vibe of this green and blue combination from Molly, one of my sweet clients who has ordered the Collection for two separate occasions in different color combinations. She did an amazing job with the party set up! Those little chalkboard signs are perfection!
Hosting a Chopped Party is a great idea for teens. It’s an interactive party; they can work on their recipes alone or in a group. When we hosted the party, the girls didn’t actually cook. We just had them make appetizers and desserts with ingredients we had at the house, without actually turning on the stove. You can see more of the details from our Chopped Party, here. Our Cooking Party Collection includes the following:
1. 5×7 Invitation design
2. Party Banner
3. 2″ Party Circles: cooking utensils, child’s name and age.
4. 2″ Thank You Tags, text reads, “Thank You”
5. Place Cards
6. 8×10 Sign, text reads, “Welcome Chefs” or “Welcome to _________’s Shower”
7. Water Bottle or Napkin Ring design
8. Drink Flags
