{Decorating} Classic Vintage Boys Bathroom

Sam's Bathroom

When we moved into our house, almost every room was a light beige color with a slight yellow undertone.  I love neutrals, but I prefer cooler, brighter colors.  We have painted most of the rooms, but we haven’t paid much attention to the kids’ bathroom spaces.  We had a free weekend a last month, so I began painting Sam’s bathroom.  His bedroom is a grayish blue with navy and red accents.  For his bathroom, I wanted to go for a Classic Vintage Boys Bathroom.  After Spring Break, I plan on finishing up the bathroom, so I thought I’d share my design board to see if you have any thoughts!

The cream bathroom has been repainted a light gray, similar to Benjamin Moore’s Stonington Gray

Painting his existing cabinet in Deep Royal or a similar color

Order an Antique Gold Light Fixture  – I haven’t decided if this fixture is definitely the one

Replace the cabinet hardware with these Antique Gold pulls and knobs

Accessorize with these red wire baskets, one or two fames containing baseball pennant art, and jute wrapped hooks

I’ve already purchased a navy striped bath mat similar to this one

Instead of traditional shower curtains, I prefer to use two curtains, that open in the middle, so I order this curtain set and plan to modify it slightly

What do you think?  Any suggestions?
