If you’ve followed along with me, lately, you already know that we are in the process of moving. We are scheduled to close on our house at the end of May, then move into our new house in mid-June. This will mean lots of big changes for my kiddos!! For the last few years, we have spent most of the summer up at the local swim/tennis club. The kids loved it and enjoyed being able to see their friends on a daily basis. However, since we were always there, we didn’t always get around to doing some other fun summer activities we wanted to do.
This year, we are going to try lots of fun, new summer activities. I made the following labels with 40 different summer activities. My plan is that we will put each of these cards in a bowl, then each weekday the kids will draw a card out. Assuming the weather is cooperating, that will be the fun activity of the day. I am definitely a planner, so this seems like a fun way to add a little spontaneity to our summer!!
