{Mirabelle Creations Party} — Eat, Drink, & Be Thankful Kids’ Table + Free Printables

Thanksgiving Kids Table Mirabelle Creations

This Thanksgiving kids’ table was styled for the November issue of TOPS in Lex magazine.  I had two little helpers who were happy to do a test fun for our actual Thanksgiving kids table.  They were more than thankful for all the fun activities at the table!  For all the little details, please scroll down.  And, don’t forget to click on the links for links to the FREE printable items.

{Kids Table}  I first started by designing a printable collection which coordinates with the Eat, Drink, & Be Thankful Dessert Table printables. Even though the kids’ table incorporates the same colors and patterns, it’s not just a pint size version of the adult table. Fun touches at each place setting will keep the kids busy throughout Thanksgiving dinner.
Owl Coloring Sheets served as place mats at each place setting.  The coloring pages were topped with an orange plate and fabric napkin. The napkins were tied with a paper leaf and mini acorn owl made using felt. I shared the details for making these sweet little owls on the The Celebration Shoppe earlier this week. Another fun little owl serves as a Utensil Holder.  Kids will be able to easily find their place setting with Whooo’s Thankful? Fancy Labels.

Beside each plate, I also placed crayons and a little composition notebook that was covered with paper and a printable party circle.  The notebooks provide a place for the kids to doodle and write notes. Another activity for the kids is the Thankfulness Tree.  They can write what they are thankful for on printable leaves that coordinate with the Thanksgiving Party Printable Collection.

Other decorations for the table included a white ceramic owl, banners on the back of the chairs, and a table topper made from kraft paper, lined with ribbon for a pop of color.  The table topper not only keeps the white tablecloth clean, kids can also color on it.
While I photographed them, my kids loved playing with the little mini owls. And, after I finished taking the pictures, they even sat at the table for a long time coloring, playing, and filling out their leaves for the Thankfulness Tree.  They definitely approved of the set-up!
